Traffic Signals and Signage
Report a malfunctioning traffic signal, request a stop sign study, or report a missing street sign.
Infrastructure
The Streets Division maintains traffic signals, stop signs, and street name signage citywide. Requests for new stop signs or traffic calming measures are evaluated through a formal traffic study process that considers crash history, traffic volume, and sightlines.
- Who this applies to
- Residents and neighborhood associations concerned about traffic safety at a specific intersection, and anyone reporting a damaged or missing sign or malfunctioning signal.
- How to apply
- Submit the General Service Request Form to report a malfunctioning signal or missing sign. Requests for a new stop sign or traffic calming measure require a written request to the Streets Division describing the location and concern.
