Bellwood is completing a multi-year program to close sidewalk gaps and bring curb ramps into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Priority locations are selected based on proximity to schools, transit stops, and medical facilities. Residents can request an assessment of a specific corner or block.

- Residents with mobility, vision, or other accessibility needs affected by a missing curb ramp or sidewalk gap, and anyone requesting the program's project schedule.
- How to apply
- Submit the General Service Request Form describing the location and the accessibility concern. Locations are added to the multi-year improvement schedule based on need and available funding.
