Demand outgrew the room. Veteran-led groups now run Monday through Thursday, with a dedicated women veterans circle and a new group for caregivers.

For most of last year our peer groups met twice a week and the room was full. People were sitting on the radiator. That is a good problem and a real one, because a group that feels crowded stops feeling safe, and a group that does not feel safe stops working.

Groups now run Monday through Thursday. Monday and Wednesday remain open groups, meaning anyone can walk in without contacting us first. Tuesday is the caregivers group, which is new, and which exists because the person driving a veteran to appointments is carrying something too. Thursday is the women veterans circle.

Every group is led by a veteran, not a clinician. Our clinical team is down the hall and available, and a peer leader will walk someone to that door when it is the right call, but the room itself belongs to people who have been where you are sitting.

There is no intake requirement and no cost. Show up, or call ahead if you would rather someone meet you at the door the first time.
