Peer mentor
Veterans onlyVeterans mentoring veterans through a benefits claim, a job search, or a first year in a new home. Training provided.
Commitment: 4 hours a month, 6 month minimum
Front desk and intake greeter
The first face someone sees. You will welcome walk-ins, help with paperwork, and get people to the right navigator.
Commitment: One 4 hour shift a week
Event crew
Setup, registration, and teardown at job fairs, wellness days, and community events. The easiest way to start.
Commitment: Occasional, event by event
Career and resume coach
Hiring managers, recruiters, and HR professionals: run mock interviews and review resumes with job-seeking veterans.
Commitment: 2 to 4 hours a month
Transportation driver
Drive veterans to VA appointments, interviews, and housing viewings. Valid license and clean record required.
Commitment: Flexible, scheduled in advance
Pro bono professional
Attorneys, accountants, IT professionals, and licensed clinicians who can take a case or a project at no charge.

Screening and training
A background check for roles working directly with veterans, plus role-specific training.
Start your first shift
You are paired with an experienced volunteer for the first one. Nobody starts alone.
Roles working directly with veterans require a background check, which we pay for. A criminal record is not automatically disqualifying, and we will tell you plainly if a role is not going to work.
