Lawn Mowing & Edging

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing at the right height for the weather, with edging and cleanup on every visit.

How we handle lawn mowing in the northwest Twin Cities

Most lawns in the northwest metro are Kentucky bluegrass blends that do best at 3 to 3.5 inches. Cut them shorter and they burn out in July. Cut them longer and they mat down and invite disease.

Our crews set the deck for your grass and the week's weather, edge every hard surface, and blow the clippings off your drive and walks before they leave. Same crew, same day, every week.

What is included

  • Mowing at 3 to 3.5 inches, adjusted for heat and drought
  • String trimming around beds, trees, fences and play sets
  • Hard edging along driveways, walks and curbs
  • Clippings blown clear of every hard surface
  • Mowing direction rotated each visit so the turf stands upright
  • A text when the crew is on the way and when they finish

The process

What to expect

  1. 1

    Walk the property

On the first visit the crew lead notes gates, pets, sprinkler heads and any soft spots to avoid.

  2. 2

    Set the schedule

You get a fixed day of the week. Rain delays roll to the next dry day, never skipped.

  3. 3

    Mow, trim, edge, clean

The same two-person crew handles every step, so nothing gets missed between handoffs.

What customers say about our lawn mowing

September 2026
“Green Leaf took over our lawn last spring after we fired the big national company. The difference is obvious. Same crew every week, they actually edge, and the price didn't go up after the first month. Wish we'd switched sooner.”
Sarah M.Maple Grove · Lawn mowing
June 2026
“We have a corner lot with a lot of edging and it always looks razor sharp. Every other service we tried left the sidewalk a mess. These guys don't.”
